Amomum aromaticum, fruit 白豆蔻

Bupleurum falcatum, root 柴胡

Citrus aurantium, fruit 枳实

Citrus medica, fruit 佛手

Corydalis turtschaninovii, rhizome 延胡索

Curcuma longa, tuber 郁金

Cyperus rotundus, rhizome 香附

Glycyrrhiza uralensis, root 甘草

Paeonia lactiflora, root 白芍

Dosage & Course of Treatment

8 - 12 pills, 3 times daily, half to one hour away from food.

In severe cases and in the early stages of treatment (first 1 – 3 weeks) the dosage may be increased by 50 - 100%.

Course of treatment: 1 – 3 months.

Once symptoms have been relieved, continue with an appropriate tonic or constitutional formula

Not to be taken long term.

 

Cautions & Contraindications

Contraindicated during pregnancy.

Contraindicated for patients taking interferon.

Caution for those on anti-coagulant medications (i.e. Heparin, warfarin or aspirin).

Caution for those on any type of sedative drug.
