Mei Chen

Australian CMBA Registered Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist. With her Bachelor degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Capital University of Chinese medicine in 1992, Chen practiced in Beijing Gulou TCM Hospital as TCM attending physician for gynaecology.  Chen is still working on her Doctor Degree study in acupuncture and moxibustion at Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

With over 30 years clinical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, Chen effectively utilises the “Nine Needles” technique from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Classic text “Nei Jing” and the “Fei Long” Pulse Technique, and focuses on the following areas: Pain Management, including acute and chronic pain such as migraines, abdominal pain ,hip and back pain, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and carpal tunnel syndrome; Weight management; diabetic management; dizziness; cough; gastroenteritis, constipation, insomnia, heart palpitations, hypertension and stroke; acne, hay fever, chronic fatigue and skin allergic reactions; With training in TCM gynaecology whilst in China, she routinely helps women with menstrual disorders, infertility and management of menopause symptoms.
